The European Masterbatch and Compounders Association (EuMBC) has scheduled its 2026 Annual Conference for 21 May in Brussels.
The event will also host the General Assembly reserved for members, bringing together European producers of masterbatches and plastic compounds.
During the public session, industry representatives, EU policymakers and other stakeholders from across the value chain will discuss regulatory and market developments at a time of significant change in the legislative framework.
Items on the agenda include an update on the European Commission’s revision of the REACH Regulation and the results of the Biolelution project, presented as an example of cross-sector collaboration.
The programme also includes presentations on design for recycling and its impact on the development of masterbatches and compounds, corporate social responsibility across the plastics value chain, and the key issues affecting sourcing and supply chains in an uncertain global environment.
The conference will conclude with a roundtable discussion dedicated to the sector’s current challenges and future priorities.
Full details of the agenda and the final list of speakers will be announced by the organisers in the coming weeks.
The day will also include networking opportunities, including a networking lunch.
