Haitian’s new facility in Serbia, which became operational in September, recently hosted a internal open house for employees and distribution partners ahead of its official inauguration, scheduled for next spring.

Located in Ruma, this is Haitian’s first European production plant, spanning approximately 60,000 square meters of manufacturing space, with additional land allocated for future expansion.
The site will initially focus on assembling injection molding machines from the Mars (servo-hydraulic toggle) and Jupiter (two-platen servo-hydraulic) series, with clamping forces ranging from 60 to 3,300 tons, specifically for the European market.

In the first months of operation, the plant has already assembled more than 50 machines, with units delivered to several customers.

Beyond machine assembly, Haitian Serbia will operate as a central hub for spare parts distribution in Europe, working alongside the group’s existing warehouse in Germany. This setup aims to ensure rapid availability of critical components and minimize machine downtime for customers.

According to Haitian, the investment in the Serbian facility underlines the group’s long-term commitment to the European plastics and manufacturing industries and is fully aligned with its three strategic pillars: regional headquarters, localized production, and Application Centers throughout Europe.
