Haitian, the Chinese manufacturer of injection molding machines, has recently signed a strategic partnership agreement with Haier Smart Home, the home solutions division of Chinese appliance giant Haier. According to both companies, the deal marks the consolidation of a 30-year collaboration and opens a new chapter in their relationship.

The scope of the agreement focuses on integrating advanced technologies such as smart manufacturing, big data and artificial intelligence. As part of the deal, Haitian — known for its injection molding and die-casting machines, machining centers, and smart factory management systems — will provide Haier with global technical support and supply chain services. Leveraging its international sales and service network, Haitian will help scale Haier’s smart manufacturing initiatives across its various global operations.

The partnership also includes a joint effort in training specialists in smart manufacturing, aiming to accelerate the development of skills required to build a forward-looking industrial ecosystem.

Haier purchased its first Haitian injection molding machine in 1995, initiating a long-standing partnership. Over the years, more than 500 machines have been installed, and Haitian has been honored with Haier’s “Global Partner Award” in recognition of the collaboration.
