Roland Janssen (pictured) has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Borouge International and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Vienna.
He will take up the role on 1 October 2026, succeeding Stefan Doboczky, who has decided to leave the company to pursue a new opportunity.
Janssen brings more than 25 years of global commercial and industry experience. He currently serves as Senior Vice President, Global Sales & Marketing at Borouge International, having previously held senior leadership positions at both Borealis and Borouge.
In his new role, he will lead the company’s global commercial organisation, overseeing and expanding customer relationships and advancing its commercial priorities across key markets.
Borouge International was formed at the end of March this year through the combination of Borouge and Borealis and the acquisition of NOVA Chemicals, bringing the three businesses together into a single global polyolefins group. Headquartered in Vienna, the company is jointly controlled by OMV and XRG, ADNOC’s international investment arm. It operates through production sites and commercial hubs across Europe, the Middle East, North America and Asia.
