EPPA, the European association of PVC window system suppliers, has elected Andreas Hartleif, CEO of the VEKA Group, as its new President (pictured right). 
The General Assembly of members appointed Patrick Seitz of Aluplast as Vice-President.

Hartleif succeeds Christian Fischer of Schüco (pictured left), who led the association during the 2025-2026 mandate.

The association’s new board will be tasked with continuing EPPA’s representation work at EU level, with a particular focus on affordable housing, energy-efficient building renovation, the circular economy and industrial competitiveness.

The PVC window systems sector employs 25,000 people in Europe and processes almost 1.4 million tonnes of material every year, generating turnover of around €4 billion.
