REPI, which manufactures liquid additives and colourants for polyurethanes and thermoplastics, has appointed Jochen Ahrens (pictured) as Managing Director of its Repi Asia subsidiary, based in Singapore.

In his new role, Ahrens will play a strategic part in driving the Group’s development and supporting its growth across the Asia-Pacific region.

He brings more than 30 years of managerial experience in the chemical industry, most of it gained at the Swiss group Clariant. During his career, Ahrens has held increasingly senior positions in both Europe and Asia, building extensive expertise in global operations and strategic leadership. He has also lived and worked in several key Asian markets, including India, Thailand, Indonesia and China.

Founded in Italy in the early 1970s and part of the Swiss group Ferline since 2018, REPI is headquartered in Lugano and operates production facilities in the United States, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia and Thailand.
