Voting suspended for Best Polymer Producers Awards

Polymers for Europe Alliance has halted the process because of exceptional market turmoil linked to the Middle East crisis.

Polymers for Europe Alliance has suspended online voting by converters on Europe’s leading plastics producers because of exceptional “market turmoil”, an unprecedented situation that is causing severe problems in polymer availability, costs and price volatility.

According to the organisers, including EuPC, current market instability makes it impossible to take a balanced view of suppliers’ performance, as required under the Best Polymer Producers Awards for Europe 2026.
Further details will be provided at the EuPC Annual Meeting, scheduled for 2 June.

Launched in 2016 by EuPC’s Polymers for Europe Alliance, the Best Polymer Producers Awards are designed to foster constructive dialogue and effective communication between polymer suppliers and users in Europe.
