Sebastian Heiner (pictured) has been appointed the new CEO of Greiner Bio-One, the medical technology division of the Austrian Greiner Group. He succeeds Ilke Panzer, who had held the position since December 2023.
Heiner, 47, joins from lubricant specialist Fuchs, where he served as chief technology officer and executive board member, with responsibilities spanning operations, procurement, product management, R&D, and sustainability.

Greiner Bio-One develops, manufactures and distributes high-quality plastic products for laboratory use, operating across three divisions: Preanalytics, BioScience and Sterilization. In 2024, it generated revenues of €666 million and employed 2,624 people.
The broader Greiner Group operates through three divisions: Greiner Packaging, Neveon and Greiner Bio-One, employing 11,600 people across 30 countries.
