During its traditional press conference at K2025, injection molding machine manufacturer Engel announced the acquisition of Trexel, a U.S. company specializing in equipment for microcellular physical foaming of plastic components using its patented MuCell process.
The two companies have long collaborated on physical foaming solutions, marketed by Engel under the foammelt brand.
