Messe Düsseldorf launches K-Alliance

A single umbrella brand now gathers 11 international trade fairs for the plastics and rubber industry, starting with the flagship K Show.

K-Alliance logo Messe Düsseldorf has grouped the trade fairs it stages worldwide — directly or with partners — for plastics and rubber under a new umbrella brand, K-Alliance.

The portfolio is headed by K in Düsseldorf, whose next edition will run this autumn, from Oct. 8 to 15.

A total of 11 events now carry the new label.
Alongside K in Düsseldorf, this year’s calendar features Pack Print Plas Philippines (Sept. 18-20) and Plastics & Rubber Indonesia (Nov. 19-22).
k-alliance map events In 2026 the baton passes to Plastindia, Plastics & Rubber Vietnam, Chinaplas, Plast Alger, Colombiaplast, Plastics & Rubber Thailand and Central Asia Plast World (Kazakhstan), while Arabplast returns in 2027.
The latest recruit is Saudi Plastics & Petrochem, to be held from April 12 to 15, 2026, in Riyadh alongside Saudi Print & Pack.

Until now these activities were clustered under the service brand Global Gate. “The previous name especially emphasized Messe Düsseldorf’s function as a door opener for entering promising sales markets,” explains Thomas Franken, director of K. “The designation K-Alliance now places a clearer focus on the strong partnerships and alliances that our constantly growing, worldwide network of trade fairs related to plastics and rubber stands for.”
