Sorema, the mechanical recycling division of the Italian group Previero, has joined forces with French company Axens, a leader in chemical recycling technologies for plastic waste.
The partnership aims to deliver fully integrated solutions for chemical recycling, leveraging both companies' expertise and technological capabilities.

Axens has developed Rewind Max and Rewind Mix for the purification of pyrolysis oil and Rewind PET for PET depolymerization. Additionally, Axens licenses Plastic Energy’s TAC (Thermal Anaerobic Conversion) process, a chemical recycling technology for plastic waste.

Sorema will contribute its expertise in sorting, cleaning and mechanical treatment of plastic waste before it enters chemical recycling facilities, enhancing overall process efficiency.

Through this collaboration, the two partners will offer turnkey integrated solutions, from basic engineering design to the delivery of modular units, enabling more efficient implementation of plastic waste recycling projects.
