Private equity firm Apollo Global Management has completed its $3.6 billion acquisition of Barnes Group, following regulatory approval from Brussels.
The group includes brands such as Synventive Molding Solution, Thermoplay and its subsidiary HPE (with facilities in Italy), Männer, Priamus, Foboha, Gammaflux, and the Italian company Gimatic.

“Under Apollo Funds’ ownership,” said Thomas J. Hook, president and CEO of Barnes, “we are well positioned to accelerate our transformation strategy, enhance our capabilities, and broaden our product offerings to create new opportunities for increased growth and innovation.”
