TEPPFA, the European Plastic Pipes and Fittings Association, has appointed Martina Conton (pictured) as its new Director General. She will succeed Ludo Debever on 1 July.
Before retiring, Debever will remain with the association as transition manager until the end of October to help ensure a smooth handover.
Conton brings extensive experience from European industry associations and the corporate sector, with a strong background in sustainability, industrial policy and highly regulated industries linked to the chemical and energy sectors.
She most recently served as Senior EU Affairs Manager at Neste, after working for the trade associations NGVA Europe and European Biogas.
“We are delighted that Martina will join our association,” said Rolf Mellink, newly appointed President of TEPPFA. “Her strategic mindset, leadership qualities and EU advocacy experience will be a valuable asset for the association and its members in achieving Europe’s sustainability, infrastructure and resilience objectives.”
