After reviewing the case under the EU Merger Regulation through the simplified procedure, the Commission concluded that the transaction does not raise competition concerns, given the companies’ limited market positions following the proposed deal.
Sealed Air specialises in the design and production of packaging, complemented by automation systems, machinery and services. In fiscal 2024, it reported sales of USD 5.4 billion and employed around 16,400 people across 117 countries.
