Uniloy has unveiled the new accumulator head blow molding machine UAI 50.EH, where the final initials stand for High Efficiency, highlighting the optimizations introduced across the series to boost energy performance, which reaches the highest rating — Class 10 — under Euromap 46.1 with a specific consumption below 0.29 kWh/kg.
The blow molding machine is equipped with a next-generation hydraulic system featuring servo-driven motors and inverters, pre-fill hydraulic cylinders to reduce oil circulation and energy losses, high-efficiency extruders designed to process high shares of recycled material, and induction heating zones to shorten heating times and lower consumption.
The bottom blow pin unit is fully electric to ensure precision and repeatability.
Available in multiple configurations up to 120 tons of clamping force, the EH series — the manufacturer explains — delivers efficiency comparable to that of all-electric machines while retaining the flexibility, robustness and mold interchangeability afforded by hydraulic drive, together with compatibility with existing molds.
