Anthony Michael Caprioli is the new CEO of Macchi, an Italy-based maker of extrusion plants for blown film production.
For Caprioli, this marks a return to the company, where he served as managing director from 2010 to 2018 before joining Colines Group, first as commercial director and later as CEO.
"Thanks to his expertise, commitment and strategic vision, together with the firm guidance of the Macchi family, the company is preparing to further consolidate its position as a leader in the blown film extrusion market," the company said. "With a strong focus on innovation and quality, Caprioli will be committed to ensuring maximum customer satisfaction, facing the market challenges and developments in the sector with determination and foresight."
Founded in 1961 and headquartered in Venegono Inferiore, northern Italy, Macchi began its operations by designing and building extrusion lines for the production of milk bags. In the same year, the company obtained a patent for the design of the first two-layer co-extrusion head for liquid packaging films. Today, it supplies plants for blown film production.
