At the end of 2025, Swedish compounder Polykemi completed a generational transition, with brothers Ola and Lars Hugoson handing over leadership to the third generation following a preparatory phase that began in March of the previous year.

Oscar Hugoson has assumed the role of Global CEO, Herman Hugoson has been appointed CEO Sweden, and Gustav Hugoson serves as Deputy CEO.
Together, they form a three-member executive team that will lead the Polykemi Group.
They are supported by Johan Hugoson, confirmed as CEO North America, and Vendela Hugoson, who continues her professional path within the Procurement department.

After nearly 30 years at the operational helm of the group, Ola Hugoson has passed on executive responsibility to his successors, following the example set by his father, Hugo Jönsson. Ola will remain involved as Senior Advisor, contributing more than 40 years of experience.
Lars Hugoson will also continue as Senior Advisor, acting as a liaison between departments and providing cross-functional operational support.

Founded in 1968 in Ystad, Sweden, Polykemi produces compounds based on virgin and recycled engineering plastics through ten companies and production sites in Sweden — including Rondo Plast for recyclates and Scanfill for packaging — as well as in the United States and China.
