Fakuma will continue to take place in Friedrichshafen at least until 2030, as P. E. Schall and Messe Friedrichshafen have renewed their long-standing partnership that began with the very first edition of the trade fair in 1983, on the shores of Lake Constance.
“The Friedrichshafen venue is not only notable for its functionality, short distances and professional team, but also for its friendly atmosphere,” said Bettina Schall, CEO of P. E. Schall GmbH. “The industry feels very much at home here, and we recognize significant potential for the continued successful development of Fakuma.”
“Fakuma is an important economic factor for local service providers and companies throughout the Lake Constance region,” added Andreas Hein, chairman of the supervisory board of Messe Friedrichshafen and mayor of the city.
Preparations are already underway for the 30th edition, scheduled for Oct. 12–16, 2026. With nearly a year to go, P. E. Schall reports strong demand for exhibition space.
The previous edition, held in 2024 (Fakuma does not take place in K-show years), featured 1,639 exhibitors and welcomed 36,675 visitors over five days, confirming its position as one of Europe’s leading trade fairs for plastics processing, particularly in injection molding.
