Shell is preparing to streamline its global chemical business. During its Capital Markets Day 2025, the energy and petrochemical giant announced a strategic roadmap through 2030, including the formation of new partnerships in the United States and the selective closure of chemical plants in Europe.
Details about which European facilities are being evaluated — and the timeline for closures — have not yet been disclosed.
