Ownership of Maricell, an Italy-based producer of rigid PVC foams used in lightweight composite materials, has transferred to a group of investors assisted by 81 SCF Family Office and BF&Company. The new owners plan to support Maricell’s growth with an investment program focused on international expansion.
Headquartered in Longarone, Italy, Maricell has nearly 40 years of history, employs 150 people, and generates €30 million in revenue, 70% of which comes from international markets.
According to a press release, the investment aims to guide Maricell through a new growth phase and establish an Italian hub for the composite materials supply chain, possibly through additional acquisitions.
Maricell’s four-year industrial plan includes €8 million in investments to enhance production processes, expand capacity, and strengthen its organization. Key managers from BF&Company’s network—Emilio Fiorani, Matteo Zambon, and Emanuele Cattelan—will join the company. The plan also emphasizes product innovation and entry into new markets and applications.
The founder’s family will remain involved. Current CEO Massimiliano Demenego Della Mora will ensure continuity, leveraging the company’s decades of market expertise.
