Starting today, free registration is open until March 1 for the Plastics Recycling Show Europe 2025 (PRS Europe), the exhibition and conference dedicated to plastics recycling. The event is set to take place at the RAI Amsterdam on the first two days of April.
This year, the exhibition will occupy two halls of the venue, reflecting increasing demand for space.
“Many of our long-standing exhibitors have taken bigger stands for 2025, while new exhibitors have pushed up the demand for floor space, driving the move to larger halls,” said Matt Barber, Global Events Director at Crain Communications. “We are also expecting visitor numbers to be even higher than 2024’s record attendance of over 11,000.”
“PRS Europe has become the place to be for the entire plastic value chain,” said Ton Emans, Plastics Recyclers Europe President. “It is the place in Europe where you can learn about the latest advancements in recycling technologies, find inspiration from leading innovators, and connect with partners who have the expertise to make plastics circular.”
The conference sessions, held in two dedicated halls, will cover political, legislative, market, and technological developments in plastics recycling. Key topics include challenges in EU plastics recycling, the new Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), synergies between mechanical and chemical recycling, market outlooks, future challenges, and trends toward achieving recycled content goals.
Dedicated sessions will explore specific areas such as the recycling of PET, polyolefin films, commodities, end-of-life vehicles, and WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment).
On April 2, 2025, the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe will celebrate international product and process innovations in plastics recycling. The awards target designers, processors, suppliers of recycled materials, manufacturers of finished products, and providers of processing technologies.
